Nicolas Guernier

VP Finance Mergers & Acquisitions, AccorHotels

Graduated from ESCP Europe in 1997, Nicolas Guernier began his career in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette before taking top management responsibilities at Credit Suisse in London until 2008. He then worked in merger & acquisition for Alstom, and joined AccorHotels in 2016 as VP Finance Mergers & Acquisitions.

David Amsellem

CEO & Founder, John Paul

David Amsellem graduated from CentraleSupélec Paris in 2001 and began his career as the founding shareholder at Poweo. His mentor, Charles Beigbeder, described him as “a really hard worker, monstrously effective”. He then pursued his professional life as an energy trader in Switzerland. In 2007, after his initial success as an entrepreneur, he spotted a market opportunity still in its infancy: private concierge services. At the age of 29, he decided to buy a company in the sector. John Paul was born a few months later, with the ambition of introducing the new private concierge service to businesses. From 2008, he convinced the biggest companies, who immediately understood the value of handling the interests of their best clients in this innovative way.

Today, as CEO of the John Paul Group, David Amsellem guides the development of the business with the same passion for excellence.

Emanuel Baudart

Chief Customer Officer, AccorHotels

Emanuel Baudart holds a double degree in Management from INSEAD and Strategic Marketing from Stanford University. He began his career at Accor in 1998, where he held several operational and marketing positions, notably internationally from 2002 to 2014. In 2009, he took the position of Sales Marketing & Distribution SVP of Latin America. Since July 2016, he is the Chief Customer Officer of the group.

Thibault Viort

Chief Disruption & Growth Officer, AccorHotels

Thibaut Viort graduated from EPITA in 1996. A 43-year-old serial entrepreneur, he created his first company when he was 22. A true trend detector, Thibault developed the first generation of Facebook games (Is cool Entertainment) in 2008. Anticipating the growing importance of Big Data with the creation of Ysance in 2005, he then specialized in the tourism industry and created Wipolo in 2009, which was acquired by AccorHotels in 2014. Then, he lead the transformation of Citivox. He has been sharing his experience for over 20 years, teaching at Ecole Polytechnique and mentoring in several start-ups (Openclassrooms, Codingames, …).

In April 2016, Thibaut Viort is named Chief Disruption & Growth Officer for the Group AccorHotels.

Steven Daines

Chief Executive Officer Middle East, Africa & New Businesses, AccorHotels

Steven Daines is a graduate of the University of Geneva and holds an MBA in International Hotel Management from ESSEC. He started his career at Accor with Compagnie des Wagons-lits, where he held various operational positions in France and abroad from 1994 to 2005 before being appointed Managing Director for the economy brands in Latin America. In 2012, he became Managing Director of Ibis Budget and hotelF1 France. He joined the Group Executive Committee in 2014 as CEO HotelServices UK, Ireland, Benelux, Switzerland, Russia and CIS. In 2017, he became Managing Director for New Businesses and Managing Director HotelServices Africa and Middle East.

Charles Kessous

Chief Operating Officer

After graduating from ESTACA in engineering, Charles Kessous worked in a various sectors in France and the United States for companies such as Esprit, Alten and CGI. He worked in operational management and development for ten years before embarking on a career as an independent consultant until joining John Paul at the end of 2008. Charles is COO France and EMEA at John Paul and is one of the pioneers who marked the development of the company.

Maryam Ingar

Chief Communication Officer

Maryam has a degree from EDHEC and took her first steps in the world of luxury with major brands such as Chanel and L’Oréal. Driven by the entrepreneurial vein in her family history she then created her own events agency. After becoming a service provider to John Paul in 2008, she became a fan of the concept and decided to join John Paul as Global Project Manager in 2010. She developed the media dedicated to brand communication and business activities and became Chief Communication & Relationship Programs Officer.

Fabien Dawidowicz

Chief Financial Officer

Fabien started his career with PWC as an auditor in banking then TICE where he handled clients such as Sony Music, Michelin and BNP Paribas Asset Management. Subsequently, he joined JG Events-Quintessentially (event agency and private concierge). He then worked for Dagobert (the leading agency in digital communication) where set up the Administrative and Financial Department and also held the roles of Human Resources and Legal Director. Fabien joined John Paul in 2012 to create the Administrative and Financial Department. He manages, with the help of his teams, the financial and legal activities of the group. He is Executive Vice-President and member of the Operating Committee for France.

James Eyton

Chief Strategy Officer

James has focused on creating a perfectly international career with experiences in America or Asia Pacific and has developed a strong taste for travel. For the opening of worldwide offices and investment management, strategic mergers and acquisitions, he uses his strategic thinking to support the ambitions and development of the group.

David Ohayon

Chief Digital Officer

David holds a degree in engineering from SUPELEC and an Executive MBA from INSEAD and began his career at Danone in the United States. In 2001, he decided to join a consulting firm working for the Orange Group and for a financial institution on CRM redesign projects, launching new products or piloting e-commerce activities. In 2008, he decided to become an entrepreneur with the investment fund Otium Capital. David then joined Weekendesk as Product and Engineering Director and subsequently worked on the development of the hotel label TemptingPlaces to launch its new digital strategy. In 2015, seduced by the John Paul adventure, he joined the management team as Chief Digital Officer to structure the digital concierge platform.

Julie Vignaux

Chief Marketing Officer

Julie has a real passion for customer experience and innovation. She combines her creativity and technological skills to innovate and deliver the best customer experience. She has made extraordinary progress at John Paul from being an intern in 2008 to become the Group’s Marketing Director today.

Jérôme Richard

Chief Executive Officer France

Jérôme graduated from CentraleSupélec in 2002 and began his career at the Boston Consulting Group. After developing a solid expertise for 8 years in management consulting within the firm, in 2010 Jérôme joined Schneider Electric, the leader in energy management. He held the position of Vice-President in the purchasing department and then in the Sales and Commercial Development department, where he demonstrated the effectiveness of his leadership. In 2016 Jérôme Richard joined the management team of John Paul with David Amsellem to guide the development of the company. He holds the position of CEO France.

Ramesh Patel

President USA, Head of Employee Loyalty

Born in Kenya and educated in Britain, Ramesh is a true entrepreneur. He created his first company named “Taxi-Bike” to help bankers and managers get to the airport by using the London Taxi Lane and avoiding the uncertainties of London traffic. The company was subsequently acquired by Virgin Atlantic. He then managed Addison Lee (the largest taxi company in Europe) for 8 years, and was transferred to San Francisco to help run DMS (Dispatch Management Services) in the United States. He made the company public at Nasdaq in 1998. Subsequently he founded two other start-ups before joining a partner to acquire LesConcierges in 2001 to provide travel and lifestyle services for the world’s most affluent companies. Since the LesConcierges merger with John Paul in January 2016, Ramesh is CEO for USA.

Fong Sit

Managing Director China

Fong was born in China, grew up in Macau and then lived in France for 16 years. Over the past 10 years, he has helped several companies to set up and manage subsidiaries in Shanghai. Fong joined and launched John Paul in China in 2013. As Managing Director China, he is in charge of business development and oversees day-to-day management.

Gregory Imbert

CEO Singapore

Gregory Imbert holds a Master degree in management from ESSCA Graduate Business School (Angers, France). As the founder of Option Gift Pte Ltd, Gregory led the company to become the leading provider of gift and reward solutions in Singapore. With more than 10 years’ experience in the management of Asian companies specializing in concierge and event services, Gregory joined John Paul in 2013 as Managing Director in Singapore.

Hélène Marchon

Managing Director Luxembourg

Hélène graduated from the ICN Business School in Nancy. On completing her final internship at PWC Luxembourg in 2009, Hélène decided to embark upon an exploratory journey to Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand for one year. Hélène then joined Dreamcar, an event company in Luxembourg for which she organized BtoB events for one year. In 2011, she became managing director and co-shareholder of the Majordome conciergerie, a company that had recently been created. Three years later, the company was acquired by the John Paul Group. Hélène is Franco-Luxembourg national and is now Managing Director of John Paul Luxembourg.

Laurent Gimel

Managing Director Maghreb & Sub-Saharan Africa

After 10 years of military service in the Submarine Forces of the French Navy, Laurent Gimel left the civil service for the private sector. Successively he was Commercial Director of a company for the western region of France, then Managing Director of a Financial Holding in Paris. Laurent has worked in various sectors such as civil aviation, hotel business and real estate. In 2004, he decided to settle in Morocco and joined the John Paul team in 2013 to participate in the creation of the “Maghreb” subsidiary.
